主讲人:Donald Stephen Lindsay

 

Donald Stephen Lindsay, professor at the department of psychology in the University of Victoria in Canada. His research is focused on human memory, especially the determinants of the subjective experience of remembering, source monitoring (the decision-making processes by which people identify the origins of memories), age-related changes in memory, and the application of theories concerning these processes to everyday memory phenomena (e.g., eyewitness memory).

 

IntroductionSource monitoring refers to the decision-making processes by which people identify the origins of memories. Professor Stephen will talk about how source monitoring framework can account for the generation of false memories and biased beliefs
