内容简介:

In order to identify treatment-sensitive markers that are promising targets for innovative therapeutic strategies we employ pharmacological, non-invasive neuromodulatory and real-time fMRI neurofeedback techniques in proof-of-concept studies in healthy subjects and evaluate treatment success and recovery in patient populations. In terms of innovative neurotherapeutic approaches we are currently focusing on translating the work that we and other international groups have carried out showing that the neuropeptide oxytocin is an important modulator of social behavior and the underlying emotional brain circuitry by carrying out large scale clinical trials investigating the therapeutic potential of intranasal oxytocin.
